How to apply
Before you apply, please read the Bank of Cyprus UK General Conditions for Bonds.
You can apply:
- By Phone – Call us on 0845 850 5555. Lines are open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday. Calls may be recorded for monitoring and training.
- By Post – Print and complete the Bond application form and return it to us at:

Confirming your identity
In accordance with industry regulations we will need to verify your identity and address. We may do this by making electronic checks and/or asking you for documentary evidence. Proof of identity could be a copy of your passport or driving licence. Proof of address could be a copy of your bank statement or utility bill. Any documents you send us should be copies certified by a bank, a solicitor or an accountant.
How to deposit money into your Bond
You can deposit funds into your Bond:
- By Debit Card
- By Direct Debit
- By Cheque – this should be dated and made payable to yourself
- By Electronic Transfer (Faster Payments/BACS/CHAPS/SWIFT) or
- Via your bank’s internet banking service. Please quote the following details:
